Where it is

This is possibly one of the most sought after areas. Harbourside Park has something for everyone, there is a large enclosed children's play area, recreation ground for football/cricket/sport and a running/walking path that is surrounded by the harbour with breath-taking views. Also the ever popular 'Deep South' restaurant where you can enjoy breakfast/lunch and dinner. Neighbouring Harbourside Park is Poole Park which has numerous family activities including an ice-rink, soft play area, mini train together with a running/cycling track and two children’s play areas plus much more. The park is surrounded by a boating lake where Rockley Water sports offer sailing courses and water-based activities. Also just a short distance away is Ashley Cross village with its array of amenities, bars, cafes and facilities. Parkstone train station has direct routes to/from Waterloo, London. A real draw for this property is the school catchment, being in catchment for Baden Powell Middle and Lilliput First schools. Both school are nearby.

What the owner says

"When we first saw this property we must admit we were worried we had perhaps bitten off more than we could chew. The house was in a derelict state and had clearly been left for a number of years (It had no kitchen or functional facilities). We knew it was a 'massive' project but we were keen to take it on and we are so glad we did. Since doing the renovation and subsequently moving in we have enjoyed every minute of our home. The location is brilliant; we visit the Harbour most days, the sociable kitchen/family room and being able to walk to Ashley Cross in less than 10 minutes. We will be sad to leave what we feel is the perfect home but having done this project we want to do our next /last project for our forever family home to bring our family up in."
