What it's got

This stunning family home has been much improved from the current owners and perfect for a family to move straight into. The heart of the home is the open plan living space featuring a modern fitted kitchen with centre island and bifolds that lead onto the rear garden. There is also a separate living room at the front with a wood burner, a perfect room to snuggle as the winter nights draw upon us. There is also a WC under the stairs for added convenience. The bedrooms and family bathroom are located on the first floor. The master bedroom has had fitted wardrobes installed in the alcoves to maximise storage space and the second bedroom is a great sized double room overlooking the garden. The third bedroom is a single. Externally, there is ample off road parking to the front and a garage to the rear with easy access to the side. The garden features a large deck providing a great space for alfresco entertaining and there is a lawn beyond the deck for the family to enjoy too. Agents Note: The current owners did get approval to extend to the side of the property. This may have lapsed but could be renewed if desired. Also, many similar properties have created a further bedroom in the loft space. This could easily be be done, subject to the usual consents.

Where it is

Perfectly positioned, this family home has Whitecliff Park at the end of the road and Ashley Cross Village, with its trendy coffee shops and eateries, just a short walk away. In the heart of Whitecliff, and falling within both Lilliput First School and Baden-Powell Middle School catchment, it's easy to see why so many families love to call this place home.

What the owner says

"Initially we were attracted to the property because of the location and that it was in both Lilliput and Baden-Powell catchment. When we walked through the door we loved the 'feel' of the house, it is so cosy and homely but spacious at the same time, we also loved the period features and the potential to make it even better than it was when we bought it. We extended to the rear and the house now works so well for us as a family, we can all be in the back room/kitchen all doing different things but at the same time all being together as a family. We have loved being so close to the water and having the park at the end of the road. We'll really miss cosy evenings by the fire and warm summer evenings on the deck."
