What it's got

The house is tucked away in a secluded spot at the end of the cul-de-sac. As soon as you walk up the drive you are hit by this substantial Tudor styled detached house and will want to see more. The entrance is welcoming with doors to all rooms and ample storage cupboards. The generous lounge is bright and airy, the natural light just floods through with the fire place being the focal point. The dining room perfectly houses a table and chairs and leads onto the conservatory which is a lovely place to sit and admire the garden. The kitchen is modern in design and has been comprehensively fitted with a range of units to eye and base. A door leads to the integral garage. In addition there is a small study to the front of the property and downstairs cloakroom. Upstairs is where your growing family can flourish with the choice of 5 bedrooms. The master bedroom is larger than average with a modern en-suite. There are three further double bedrooms and even the fourth bedroom is a good size. The modern main bathroom benefits from both a bath and shower. If you are looking for a good size garden this one will not disappoint. It is mostly laid to lawn making it a great blank canvas to put your own mark on. You can access the garage via a personal door. Surrounded by an abundance of mature trees, plant and shrub borders and fencing to all three sides. A gate leads to the front. The driveway provides off road parking for several cars and leads to the double garage which benefits from light and power with space and plumbing for washing machine and tumble dryer.

What the owner says

"Having grown up in London, I was attracted to the proximity to the beaches and the convenient location, close to the University and to both Bournemouth and Poole town centres. The village has a lovely feel to it and I was drawn to the spaciousness of the house, inside and out. I especially loved the amount of storage space throughout which helped to keep a tidy home and ensure items were out of reach of pets and children. We've loved the property as a quiet escape from the hustle and bustle but still being close enough to the main roads out of Bournemouth to visit family back in London. We have also appreciated strolling around the peaceful village and admiring the beautiful scenery, watching the seasons change in the trees. We will miss the cosiness and privacy of being tucked away in a close as well as regularly walking around the village listening to the birdsong and identifying different colourful flowers. We'll also miss being short walk away from the shops and the friendly doctor's surgery that are all within the confines of the village."
