Flat 9 Ribbonwood Hills, Glen Road, Lower Parkstone, Poole

Asking Price

What it's got

In my opinion this apartment offers excellent value for money given the views and quiet location. The whole apartment is bright and airy with well-proportioned rooms throughout. The living room/diner is the main feature, as soon as you walk in you are hit with the stunning views via double opening French doors which lead onto the South West facing balcony. The kitchen is separate to the living space but does have an opening joining the two rooms. The kitchen is modern and has been comprehensively fitted. The master bedroom is a good size leading to a contemporary replacement en-suite shower room. There is a larger second bedroom with feature shaped windows. The main bathroom has been replaced with a contemporary suite. There is ample storage cupboards. You can take the lift down to your allocated underground parking bay accessed via remotely controlled door. There are also additional visitor parking space outside. NB: 99 year lease from 1999, subject to negotiation, the owner would start the process of renewing the lease.

Where it is

Glen Road is tucked away, as it is a cul-de-sac its not necessarily somewhere you would have driven down unless you lived there or had a friend there. It is conveniently located nearby to the local amenities of Ashley Road. At the end of the cul-de-sac there is a public pathway leading directly into Ashley Cross. There are regular bus routes to/from Poole and Bournemouth. Parkstone railway station is a short walk away, putting Southampton, Winchester and London all within easy commuting distance.

What the owner says

"I bought the flat for so many reasons. I loved the spacious rooms and of course the spectacular views over Poole harbour. Living here has been a joy. The flat is very warm in winter, especially after I installed a new combi boiler 3 years ago which is very economical. The views change season to season. I feel very safe here with our underground garage, fire doors and entry phone system. The short walk through the footpath to Ashley Cross gives quick access to the shops, bars, and railway station. What's not to like? I will miss just about everything. The balcony is a good size and in my option the best in the block as it has no overhang and gets full sunshine from about 1pm until the sun goes completely. I have seen some wonderful sunsets since I have lived here, and even Mediterranean plants like Oleander thrive here. I will be sorry to leave."
